We’re celebrating our 7th anniversary season in 2015
Shelby Township Farmer’s Market in an outdoor market, situated on an impressive automotive history site – the Packard Proving Grounds. Half of the proceeds from the market help support the Packard Foundation and it’s volunteers who are working hard with ongoing renovations of the restoration of this beautiful location.
Come on out and stock up on fruits and veggies and all your farm fresh favorites – eggs, honey, maple syrup, bread and bakery items plus much more.
The 2015 season will open on Saturday, May 9th and runs through Saturday, October 24th. Click here to download a copy of the 2015 vendor application, then fill it out and mail it with a $50 to hold your space.
Look for us out in the FRONT yard RAIN or SHINE. May thru Oct, Saturdays 9am – 2pm
We’re excited to announce that the Packard Proving Grounds Historic Site is now available for events! The Repair Garage Banquet Center can accommodate up to about 300 people, and the outdoor courtyard and Lodge Garage are also lovely event spaces. Visit PackardEvents.org to check date availability and to see some images from some of the events that have been held here.
Plus if you’ve always wondered what was inside the buildings, now you can check them out! Every Saturday at 11am, meet at the front gates for a free guided tour. Also if you’re looking for family fun, mark your calendar for the October 19th fall open house at the Packard Proving Grounds Historic Site.
The tours are free, but be sure to call Mary Anne @ 586-943-5785 to reserve a space, or send an email to email@example.com. Tours are limited to a max of about 20 people per docent, so if we need to have more than one present for the tours we need to have a heads up.
